Nestled within the Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada, the Banff Centre is a multipurpose arts, creative and event space. In recent years it has undergone extensive refurbishment to become a modern and sustainable building that blends effortlessly into its surroundings.
The wooden PARKLEX PRODEMA panels that adorn the exterior of the Banff Centre connect it visually with the national park. The building’s relationship with nature is strengthened through a number of energy efficient features. These include the use of certified wood, low-emitting materials and McGill Sun Controls for light pollution reduction.
The PARKLEX PRODEMA panels were manufactured with raw forest materials in an environmentally responsible way, and help to insulate the centre from the cold temperatures of the Rocky Mountains.
